Last weekend (11 December 2021) the Sprinter made the last kilometers in the regular service of the Dutch Railways.
The official farewell to the 'Stadsgewestelijk materieel' (SGM), as the Sprinter was officially called, unfortunately did not take place, but 24Trains.tv arranged a farewell with two unique videos for you!
First we have a unique video from 1982, when the Sprinter was in service for 7 years. This video can only be seen exclusively here at 24Trains.tv!
The second video contains footages from the last days of the Sprinter, with beautiful drone footages. So 24Trains.tv did arrange worthy farewell to these striking Dutch trains which were in service for the Dutch Railways for 46 years!
