Archives from a Dutch trainspotter
This 19-part series, which contains more than five and a half hours of video material, takes you on a kind of time travel from 1991 to 2005. Various railway events, mainly in the Netherlands, were filmed. From the legendary farewell to the 1200 electric locomotive in Geldermalsen in 1998 to 150 years of railways in Roosendaal in 2004.
Many steam rides were filmed, but also new trains were tested, such as the BR 189 or the light rail tram/train A32 between Gouda and Alphen.
In addition, some regular train traffic was filmed here and through, so that the Koplopers, Plan Vs, sprinters and electric locomotives in the passenger service can be seen. A time travel indeed!
