Australian Trains - Queensland

The majority of Queensland’s railways are narrow gauge. However, a standard gauge railway reaches Brisbane from New South Wales. This single line hosts freight services and a single daily return XPT service from Sydney.

The North Coast Railway extends 1,680 km from Brisbane to Cairns, with most other routes branching off to the west from this Line.
