The Italian Riviera of Flowers was a true train spotters paradise, as the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line ran right along the beautiful blue waters of the Mediterranean. At the end of 2016, however, it was all over for the old railway line along the coast: the new diverted line was largely constructed in tunnels. Fortunately, the (almost last) images of the trains that still run on the old railway line along the coast can be viewed here.
