Steam in the East of the Netherlands
This series focuses on the Museum Buurtspoorweg, literally translated as Museum Neighbourhood Railway and better known by the abbreviation MBS. The MBS operates a museum railway between Haaksbergen and Boekelo in Twente in the province of Overijssel in the East of the Netherlands.
The foundation was founded on February 21, 1967 and is one of the older museum railways in the Netherlands.
The MBS has a beautiful collection of steam and diesel trains with which it operates a tourist service between Haaksbergen and Boekelo.
