Corporate films

In 1994, a new type of train entered service at the NS (Dutch Railways), namely the Double-decker inter-regional trains, abbreviated as the DD-IRM. These trains were built by Talbot in Aachen, Germany. Later, they were all lengthened and were given the abbreviation VIRM (Verlengd Interregio Materieel).

NS training film 'Work trains'

This is an instructional film from 1994 for NS (Dutch Railways) staff about the introduction of the Intercity Plus in the Netherlands. At that time, 12 intercity carriages were converted as a trial in order to offer a higher level of comfort. On the outside, they were given a striking blue colour scheme for the Netherlands, compared to the standard yellow of NS. Dutch spoken. Credits: NS
