Trainspotting under the sun of Southern France
The southern French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur has a great attraction for tourists. The Côte d'Azur has been a popular holiday destination since the emergence of tourism. Due to the mountainous terrain, there are not many railway lines, but there is enough train traffic. The coastline along the Mediterranean Sea is electrified, but the lines in this part of the Alps are not.
