24Trains.tv visits the HSIJ steam train from Tata Steel in the Netherlands

In this 24trains.tv original we see the steam locomotives Bonne and Tom in action during a ride over the Tata steel terrain in IJmuiden in the Netherlands.

Bonne was built in 1943 by the machine factory in Esslingen in Germany and used to run ore trains for an iron steel manufacturer in Oberhausen.

Tom was built in 1949 by Krupp in Essen also in Germany and was a shunting locomotive. Both are owned by HSIJ, the ‘Hoogovens Stoom IJmuiden’ foundation.
