Black Forest Railway - Summer 2021
The Black Forest Railway (Schwarzwaldbahn) is a double-track, electrified main line in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The railway runs from Offenburg through the Black Forest to Singen (Hohentwiel).
Because the Gäubahn was closed all month due to construction work, as well as the Rheintalbahn on some weekends, some freight trains have been diverted via the Schwarzwaldbahn which can be seen. The Alpen-Sylt Night Express was also spotted, as well as a special class 218 train and a steam locomotive.
