Cab ride under the 'gothic arches' - from Blauwkapel to Hilversum

The 'Gothic Arches' are a type of catenary portals that can only be found on the route between Utrecht Blauwkapel and Hilversum in the Netherlands. These typical portals were built in concrete due to material scarcity during the Second World War. These beautiful catenary portals now have the status of a national monument.

This video contains a cabride that was filmed in 1973 on this route and the beautiful 'Gothic Arches' are clearly visible!
