CFL cargo 1800, the story continues
Although the farewell tour was held in June 2012, the last three CFL cargo 1800 diesels (1815, 1817 and 1818) were still in service in November 2012. They were mostly used for steel trains between Bettembourg and Esch-Belval and the petrol trains between Luxembourg-triage and Bertrange.
According to the official timetable these trains should be pulled by a class 1500 (Vossloh G1206) but they were mainly pulled by the good old 1800. The recordings in this video were made on November 23rd and 24th, 2012.
