Part 1: Koblenz, the Rhine Valley and Bacharach
We start the day in Koblenz station where we see locomotives of the series 101, 110.3, 120, 140, 141, 143, 146, 151, 155, 181.2 and 363 (v60) in action. You see pull-push intercity trains and local trains, interspersed with long freight trains. A large part of these scenes are without music with pure train noise.
Then we travel through the part of the snowy Rhine valley and we see castles and half-timbered houses. In Bacharach filmed at the station and there is also a short impression of the town of Bacharach. Then we climb up for an impressive view over the Rhine valley with various trains. We conclude this film with evening shots along the track.
