The ‘Koploper’ of the Dutch Railways (NS) is perhaps the most iconic type of rolling stock since the 1980s, and probably also the most popular type among staff, passengers and train enthusiasts.
When this documentary was made in the spring of 2023, the Koploper was the oldest NS rolling stock still in service. The ‘Koplopers’ are now in the final days of their active service, so it was urgently time for 24Trains.tv to make a train special about the ‘Koploper’.
