Lapland

A trip to the most northerly railway in Europe: Northern Sweden. Large iron ore mines near Kiruna transport dozens of ore trains per day, including to Narvik. They have a length of up to 68 cars and are pulled by the strongest electric locomotives in the world, the Dm3 locomotives and the more modern IORE locomotives. As an intermezzo there is an excursion with the Inlandbanan from Mora to Gällivare.
