Train spotting on the German North-South Railway line
The 'Nord-Süd strecke', the North-South railway line, between the German towns of Hannover and Würzburg, is an important railway line between the north and south of Germany. Many freight trains run on this railway line.
The footage for this video was recorded on August 5, 2023 at Burgstemmen, which is located near Elze between Hannover and Gottingen.
Some regional expresses from Erixx and Metronom, among others, were spotted, in addition to many freight trains from HLG, Locomotion, SBB-cargo, Infraleuna, DB-cargo, Metrans, MFDRail, VTG, EP-cargo and DPB. These were pulled by various locomotive types such as Vectron, Taurus, Euroduals, Traxx and the Baureihe 151.Thus a varied train traffic!
