Deutsche Bahn celebrates the opening of the new Wendlingen–Ulm line
Deutsche Bahn (DB) has completed a new main railway line in the south of Germany. The new Wendlingen–Ulm line officially went into operation on December 9, 2022.
This new highspeed line, together with Stuttgart 21, is part of the Stuttgart–Ulm railway project and is located on what is known as the “Magistrale for Europe”, which connects cities and regions with a total of 34 million inhabitants in five countries.
