Part 1: from Coswig to Dresden HBF
The first part of this series begins with the railway lines from Berlin and Leipzig, which cross each other in Coswig and lead to the main station, one via Dresden-Friedrichstadt, the other via Dresden-Neustadt. The renovation of the factory and the building was already in full swing, but the typical DR flair could still be found. This has since disappeared, as have some of the series shown in the film. In Dresden there was a colorful mix of ex DR and DB series, as well as the latest vehicle generations and the cross-border vehicles of the ČD.
