Trains & Tulips
This third part takes you to the North ( or ‘Kop’ as they say in the Netherlands) of North Holland where VIRM double-decker trains in all three colour combinations can be seen between the tulips.
The romance of single track and trains waiting for each other is captured in the surroundings of Anna Paulowna.
Trips of the ‘Dinner Train’ were also filmed in Santpoort, Bloemendaal and Uitgeest.
Freight trains heading in Uitgeest were filmed extensively, interspersed with trains in blooming spring meadows. And a steam locomotive of the SSN (Stoomstichting Nederland) can also be seen, which ran as ‘Bossche Bollen Express’ on April 24, 2022.
