Plešivec to Slavošovce (Slovakia) - Driver's Eye View
In this video we explore one of the picturesque branch lines radiating from Plešivec in Slovakia, this time to Slavošovce, passing through pretty countryside and fascinating wayside stations. The“Grumpy” diesel in front is sometimes affectionately referred to as ‘Bardotka’ (Brigitte Bardot) due to its shapely front profile. Many similar meandering branch lines throughout the world have succumbed to competition from road transport, happily many still survive in Slovakia offering the chance to experience a traditional country branch line.
