The Power of a N&W Steam Turbine ‘Jawn Henry’ Model Train
Mechanical upgrades and DCC installation completed on an Alco Models model train in brass. The model is the 1979 N&W Steam Turbine ‘Jawn Henry’. The running gear was improved, the motor was upgraded and almost 4 pounds of extra weight was added for more pulling power. During a test, which can be seen in this video, this model train effortlessly pulled 76 cars up a 2% grade!
