Rail Away 14: Canada - Sault St. Marie - Agawa Canyon - Hawk Junction (Dutch)

From the Canadian city of Sault St. Marie we follow a tourist train north, through the vast wilderness of the province of Ontario. This journey to the Agawa Canyon is a special experience, especially in autumn when the many trees adorn themselves in bright red colours. This period is called the Indian Summer and forms a special backdrop for our train journey. In Agawa Canyon we change to a passenger train to the small settlement of Hawk Junction. The area of this train journey is sparsely populated with very few roads and therefore the Algoma Central Railway train is often the only contact with the outside world for the inhabitants of this region in summer and winter.

This version is Dutch spoken.
