Rail Away 17: Switzerland - Grindelwald - Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch (Dutch)

We will see a lot of snow in this episode which starts in the glacier village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland. Grindelwald has been visited by English tourists since 1850. With the arrival of the train, around 1900, more and more holidaymakers came to this village, including for example the Dutch royal family. From Grindelwald, the train of the Wengern Alp Bahn (WAB) climbs through breath-taking scenery up the mountain to Kleine Scheidegg, at an altitude of over 2000 meters. There we change to the Jungfrau Railway, which takes us to the highest train station in Europe: The Jungfraujoch at 3,454 meters above sea level.

This version is Dutch spoken.
