Rail Away 5: Belgium - Luik-Eupen and Verviers-Spa
Rail Away is visiting Belgium. The starting point is Liège. The train journey begins at the futuristic new Liège-Guillemins station. The InterCity makes the journey straight through the Ardennes to German-speaking Eupen. On the way, the town of Chaudfontaine is also passed, known for the water with the same name that has it sources here. Afterwards we leave from Verviers, where the local train leaves for Spa. There are numerous small stations along this route towards the city of Spa which also is well-known for the spring water with the same name.
