Through breathtaking autumn landscapes on the Ffestiniog Railway

The Ffestiniog Railway is a historic metre-gauge railway in North Wales, United Kingdom. Opened in 1836, it is one of the oldest operating railways in the world. Running between the towns of Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog, the Ffestiniog Railway offers a scenic journey through the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia National Park.

Passing lakes, valleys and historic mines, the train offers a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the region. In two parts, we take you to the Ffestiniog Railway with footage of steam trains in action on the railway. The footage was filmed in the autumn of 2021 and 2022, adding an extra special touch to the atmosphere!
