Largest Dutch Steam festival – ‘Back to Then 2024’
Every year in the first full weekend of September, the VSM, the ‘Veluwsche Stoomtreinmaatschappij’, holds the largest steam event in the Netherlands, called ‘Back to Then’.
In 2024, the event took place on September 7 and 8 . This three-part series takes you along almost everything that was there to see: from impressive steam locomotives in action to shunting work with the ‘Tommy and Tess’, a former NS 1600 electric locomotive, and much more!
