Cab ride through the German Rhine Valley

The main train station in Frankfurt/Main is one of the largest indoor train stations and is one of the most important hubs in Germany. With the next train station at the airport after 11 km, DB also integrates Germany's most important air hub directly into its network. The Opel Rüsselsheim depot follows shortly thereafter for local transport. Mainz and Koblenz are IC stops, and all stations between Bingen and Boppard are also heavily used for excursions and holiday traffic, many as transition stations to Rhine shipping.

While all long-distance traffic runs on the left bank of the Rhine, freight trains and regional passenger trains run on the right bank of the Rhine. Following the current, the train also constantly changes its direction, in addition to many castles, the Loreley near St. Goar in particular attracts the attention of the passengers.
