In this first part about the track doubling between Heerlen and Landgraaf, we first take a ride on the relevant section of track, exactly one month before the decommissioning. Then we follow the work closely and see track builder Swietelsky in action with his equipment.

For the first time, the Rus 1000 is used in the Netherlands, we see which methods there are to unload rails and much more.
